Magnetic Island Roaming

Fabulous Day!

Well that was a fabulous day exploring Magnetic Island riding the electric bikes from Magnetic Island roaming. Booking was easy online as was picking up the bike after getting off the ferry. There was plenty of power to ride through the hills and very easy to ride. I appreciated the quietness of the bike, especially riding up to West Point being able to hear the birds and the breeze rustling through the trees. The directions given at the start of the day led us to beautiful places around the island. I would highly recommend hiring one of these electric bikes to explore Magnetic Island.

The Best Day!

We had the best day! These bikes are awesome! Great condition and absolutely no problems with them! We loved being able to get to West Point and check it out. No concerns about battery life. Took us all over the island several times and only used about half. Really friendly, helpful service. Highly recommend!!

A New Experience

We had never rode a motorbike or even an e-bike before. The owner was great at explaining how they worked and how to ride them. The rental place is on a side road so you can practice before going on the 'real' roads. It took a little getting used to but we were soon having a great time. Initially we went quite slow even on the main roads. The traffic was pretty light and drivers didn't pressure us, they just overtook when it was safe. A great way to have freedom to get around the island on your own time.

We had the best fun

We had the best fun on these zippy and sturdy electric motorbikes. Having never ridden a scooter or motorbike, Tim gave me great tips on how to manage it and within minutes we were off. We spent the whole day riding around the island, stopping off for food, to check out the sights, and have a swim. The bikes were so much fun and felt really solid. They got us up and down the many hills easily. Bags were provided for our belongings too.

Bikes are Amazing

If you are looking for a great way to get around the island and access some areas that a car can't then I would highly recommend the electric bikes, and the booking process is very easy to do online. They are very easy to use and have a great range on them, I did most of the island, using the higher settings and still made it back with close to a full battery. The bikes are new and very easy to use, they definitely help out on the hills, while expending as little energy as possible. Would definitely do it again when I am back next.

Best Day!!

We just loved these bikes. We are 2 friends in our 60’s and although the bikes are fairly heavy we found we were able to handle them ok. We were able to go to West Point unlike the normal mopeds and enjoyed traveling along that track. We explored picnic bay, Nelly bay and Horseshoe bay. There was hardly an area that we didn’t get to. Brilliant fun and a fantastic way to see Magnetic Island. It’s a must do!!

Highly Recommended

Highly recommend this brilliant experience on Magnetic Island. The bikes were easy to ride, had good power to manage the hills and felt very safe to manoeuvre. Beautiful scenery and a variety of roads made the whole day interesting. Tim and Pamela, the owners, were great to deal with and answered all questions and concerns prior to the road and offered good advice about where to go on Maggie. A must do on your things to do list when visiting Magnetic Island.
